Certifications
Certifications are a great way to demonstrate your expertise to payers, your team and organizations, and to the patients you serve.
Certifications can also increase your marketability as a prospective employee and increase OT's presence in end-of-life care settings. Some hospice or palliative care teams require their clinicians to have specialty training (e.g., Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) and it may be easier to advocate for your place on the team with your own.
Note. Certificate costs are up to date as of July 2023. However, costs are subject to change and should be verified with the program. Additionally inquire about CEUs provided for graduate certificates, as policies are subject to change.
