Advocacy
Advocacy is essential to making progress toward greater inclusion of OT services in end-of-life care and other settings serving individuals with serious illness. These are but a few of the ways you can advocate - and we're interested in hearing about any opportunities you have found at contact@otpall.com!
One of the most effective ways to advocate within your local communities is to get involved with your state OT association and state hospice and palliative care organizations. End-of-life OT may not yet be represented in these organizations, creating an opportunity for you to make meaningful change and advocate directly to the health professionals most capable of advancing OT's role.

Network with likeminded health professionals.
Volunteer, apply to be or nominate a guest speaker, teach a continuing education course.
